"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

dude don't sweat it. if you want to improve I would say life drawing is the key, draw your folks, friends whoever'll let you, try to see the shape of your subject, not what you think the shape is. and dont be afraid to fuck it up, you never see all crap that people do, just their best work. sometimes you need to draw crap so you can draw well.
